About The Position

The Town Pump Hotel Group is seeking motivated and outgoing Hotel Maintenance Personnel who will model its mission of providing genuine hospitality, comfort, and service. The role supports the upkeep and operation of hotel property, including grounds, building facilities, and guest rooms, through daily cleaning, preventative maintenance, and small repairs. Personnel help ensure a positive guest experience while following Town Pump and brand operating guidelines and maintaining a high standard of workmanship. The position also involves completing required training and certifications, maintaining timely and accurate maintenance records, reporting issues, following appearance and confidentiality policies, keeping property and equipment secure, and working safely. Other duties may include providing shuttle transportation at some locations and cross-training with the front desk and housekeeping.

Requirements

General knowledge of building construction, repair, maintenance, heating, air conditioning, electrical, and plumbing is preferred.
Ability to complete required company and brand-specific training and/or certifications in a timely manner.
Ability to follow Town Pump grooming, appearance, uniform, nametag, and confidentiality expectations.
Ability to practice safe working conditions under Occupational Safety and Health Administration guidelines, including Bloodborne Pathogens.

Responsibilities

Perform daily cleaning, upkeep, preventative maintenance, small repairs, and property maintenance for grounds, building facilities, and guest rooms in accordance with Town Pump and brand standards.
Provide shuttle transportation when needed at some locations.
Support a positive guest experience while following Town Pump operating guidelines and maintaining a strong work ethic and pride in workmanship.
Complete required company and brand-specific training and certifications in a timely manner.
Complete maintenance records within 24 hours, report known issues with services, equipment, and property, and ensure work orders are in place.
Follow grooming and appearance guidelines, wear a uniform and nametag while on shift, and protect the confidentiality of guest and company information.
Install small maintenance items for repair under the supervisor’s direction.
Complete tasks and assignments on daily and preventative maintenance checklists.
Keep buildings and grounds clean and clear by removing trash, debris, and weather-related hazards such as snow and ice.
Update maintenance records for property equipment, tools, and mechanical systems.
Keep equipment, tools, and inventory stock secure.
Practice safe working conditions under Occupational Safety and Health Administration guidelines, including Bloodborne Pathogens requirements.
Complete other duties as needed, including cross-training with the front desk and housekeeping.
