About The Position

The Golden Plough Inn is seeking a Full-Time Hotel Housekeeping Houseperson/Shuttle Driver. This role is responsible for assisting room attendants with maintaining the cleanliness of guest areas and rooms according to hotel standards, as well as driving guests in the hotel shuttle. Public transportation is not available to the location, so reliable transportation and a valid driver's license are required.

Responsibilities

Removal and storage of dirty linen and trash from guest rooms
Deliver supplies and clean linens to Room Attendants throughout the property
Assist room attendants with cleaning of the public/guest areas
Deep cleaning projects as assigned
Handle guest deliveries to rooms and special requests.
Respond and attend to basic guest repair requests.
Communicate with guests to resolve maintenance issues.
Assist Maintenance by performing routine preventive maintenance in the guest rooms and each of the common areas of the Inn.
Program TV's and perform general housekeeping and engineering-related inventory duties.
Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate and address guests’ service needs, and thank guests with genuine appreciation.
Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, support team to reach common goals, and listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees.
Drive guests in the hotel shuttle.
Perform other reasonable job duties as requested.
