About The Position

The hotel shuttle driver is responsible for safely transporting guests between the hotel and designated locations while providing excellent customer service and maintaining the shuttle vehicle.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license
• Clean driving record
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to operate shuttle vehicles safely
• Knowledge of local area and routes
• Ability to assist with luggage
• Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge
• Ability to adhere to schedules

Nice To Haves

• Experience as a shuttle driver or in a similar role
• First Aid and CPR certification
• Experience with fleet management (for senior roles)

Responsibilities

• Shuttle drivers transport guests to and from the hotel, airports, train stations, local attractions, and other designated locations, ensuring timely and safe arrivals and departures.
• They serve as the first and last point of contact for guests, assisting with luggage, answering questions about the hotel and local area, and providing a welcoming and professional experience.
• Drivers operate shuttle buses, vans, or cars, maintain cleanliness, perform basic vehicle checks such as tire pressure and fuel levels, and report any mechanical issues to management.
• They follow a specific shuttle schedule, ensuring that pick-ups and drop-offs occur on time, and may keep logs of trips, distances, and times.
• Shuttle drivers ensure passenger safety, comply with traffic laws, and follow hotel policies. They are responsible for the security of guest belongings during transit.
• Some drivers assist other hotel departments, such as transporting staff or running errands, and may mentor junior drivers or help with fleet management in senior role.
