About The Position

The Hotel Housekeeping HOUSEPERSON is responsible for cleaning and maintaining assigned areas, including guest rooms, corridors, lobbies, public areas, and back-of-house areas, ensuring established standards of cleanliness and hygiene are met. Other duties include but not limited to vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and polishing floors regularly to remove dirt, debris, and stains, dust and wipe surfaces, including furniture, fixtures, windowsills, and baseboards, to maintain a clean and attractive appearance, empties trash receptacles and replace liners as necessary, and performs other tasks as assigned by the supervisor or manager.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Good communication skills.
• Good organizational skills.
• Good guest service skills.
• Knowledge of equipment used such as: Hand held radios, vacuum machines and linen carts.

Nice To Haves

• Prior Housekeeping experience preferred.
