Housekeeper- Weekends Required

About The Position

DelMonte Hotel Group is seeking an experienced and driven Hotel Housekeeper to help provide a positive guest and colleague experience. The role is responsible for the overall cleanliness of assigned guest rooms, meeting cleanliness standards, and providing guests with pleasant, professional service. Housekeepers may also clean public areas and perform deep cleaning and additional service for assigned rooms as needed.

Requirements

Up to 1 month of related housekeeping experience or training.
Solid organizational, time-management, and prioritization skills.
Self-motivated, with a strong work ethic and a drive to exceed expectations.

Responsibilities

Maintain a clean and organized supply cart.
Sort, count, fold, mark, or carry linens.
Change linens and make beds.
Sweep, scrub, and mop floors.
Dust furniture and fixtures.
Wash walls, ceilings, woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills.
Clean and sanitize bathrooms.
Empty wastebaskets and transport trash and waste to the disposal area.
Vacuum rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies.
Move furniture, hang or remove drapes, and roll carpets as needed.
Replenish guest room supplies, including drinking glasses, bathroom amenities, and writing supplies.
Tag lost and found articles and turn them in to management.
Inspect rooms for maintenance needs and check fixtures, equipment, and room conditions for proper operation and settings; report deficiencies.
Clean lobby, lounge, rest rooms, corridors, elevators, and stairways as assigned.
Replace light bulbs as needed.
Deep clean assigned guest rooms and replenish guest amenities and supplies as needed.
Complete a second housekeeping service for assigned rooms as needed.
