About The Position

The Hotel Housekeeper performs daily housekeeping assignments to the required standards of quality and cleanliness, completing work in a timely manner. The position works independently or as part of a team to help create a positive impression of the hotel. Candidates should be self-motivated, hardworking, detail-oriented, dependable, and able to communicate well. Training is available for the right candidate. This is a part-time, year-round position at one location. The typical schedule is Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday, from 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Self-motivated.
• Good attendance.
• Good communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in housekeeping or commercial cleaning; previous commercial housekeeping experience is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide great customer service to guests while completing daily duties.
• Ensure proper cleanliness of rooms in the assigned work area.
• Report evidence of smoking in resort accommodations or pets in non-pet-friendly areas.
• Be responsible for the keycard and maintain accurate logs.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
