About The Position

The Guest Room Inspector plays a critical role in ensuring that all guest accommodations meet the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and comfort. The inspector identifies any maintenance issues, cleanliness concerns, or missing amenities and communicates these findings promptly to the appropriate departments for resolution. Requirements

  • Previous experience in hospitality, housekeeping preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and observational skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Basic knowledge of safety and sanitation standards.
  • The Guest Room Inspector utilizes keen observational skills daily to identify any deviations from established cleanliness and maintenance standards.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct detailed inspections of guest rooms to ensure cleanliness, functionality, and compliance with hotel standards.
  • Verify that all amenities, furnishings, and fixtures are present, operational, and in excellent condition.
  • Document and report any maintenance issues, damages, or discrepancies to the maintenance and housekeeping teams for timely resolution.
  • Collaborate with housekeeping supervisors to ensure rooms are prepared and ready for guest occupancy.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspection results and follow up on corrective actions to guarantee continuous quality improvement.
