We are seeking a driven and experienced General Manager to lead our Holiday Inn Express - Moline, IL property. Requirements

5+ years of hotel management experience
Proven ability to supervise, coach, and motivate teams of up to 50 employees
Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and on call for emergencies
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Must be able to understand mathematical concepts, including basic math, budgeting, profit/loss concepts, percentages, and variances.
Valid driver's license with ability to be insured by the company
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and brand-specific hotel management platforms

Responsibilities

Lead day-to-day hotel operations - managing personnel, assets, and responding to any challenges that arise on property.
Champion a guest-first culture - monitor Medallia scores, respond to feedback, and enforce FHG service standards.
Drive revenue performance through strategic rate management, pricing, and room allocation to maximize occupancy.
Directly supervise and develop all Department Managers; set annual objectives and evaluate performance against goals.
Collaborate with the Sales Team on long-range marketing strategy and actively manage top accounts.
Maintain all property inspections, licenses, certifications, and ensure full compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Participate in strategic planning with the FHG Corporate office and contribute to the annual business plan.
Enforce internal accounting controls and ensure accurate financial reporting.
Oversee hiring, onboarding, performance management, and ongoing training for all management and line-level staff.
Maintain brand standards compliance and represent the hotel in the local business community.
