About The Position
voco St. Augustine is looking for a dependable, outgoing Front Desk Agent to join their team. They are a full-service boutique IHG hotel with a relaxed, stylish atmosphere and a strong focus on genuine hospitality. At voco, the front desk sets the tone. The Front Desk Agent will be one of the first people guests meet, and the goal is to make them feel welcome from the moment they arrive.
Requirements
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- A positive, professional personality
- Someone who takes ownership and gets things done
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to stay calm and organized when the hotel gets busy
- Comfortable using computers and learning hotel systems
Nice To Haves
- Previous hotel or front desk experience preferred
- IHG experience is a plus
Responsibilities
- Create a warm, friendly check-in and check-out experience
- Assist with reservations, payments, guest requests, and questions
- Recommend local restaurants, attractions, and things to do in St. Augustine
- Respond quickly when a guest needs help and follow through until the issue is resolved
- Work closely with housekeeping, maintenance, and other hotel departments
- Keep the front desk and lobby organized, professional, and guest-ready
- Take initiative instead of waiting to be told what needs to be done
- Help create the fun, welcoming atmosphere that makes voco different
