About The Position

The Hotel Front Desk Clerk's mission is to provide guests with an exceptional hotel experience by offering a pleasant and timely check-in, while accommodating special requests to meet all their traveling needs. The starting hourly rate is $17.00/hr.

Requirements

  • Minimum of High School diploma
  • Basic knowledge of computers. - use computers to check in guests, create invoices and manage online bookings
  • Customer service skills
  • Strong verbal and nonverbal communication skills
  • Superior listening skills
  • Standing for long periods of time
  • Flexible working hours -schedule (8A-4P; 4P-12A; 12A-8A; and in between shifts when needed)
  • Working Holidays and Weekends

Nice To Haves

  • Front desk experience recommended
  • Bilingual is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Check in guests & provide them with directions to their room
  • Inform guests of all on-site amenities and any relevant information that is needed to use them
  • Answering phones professionally
  • Create reservations over the phone and in person
  • Handle and resolve guest complaints
  • Invoice and bill guests for their stay and services used
  • Communicate with guests to better understand their individual needs to provide them with the best service possible
  • From time to time, performs Administrative & clerical work as requested.
