About The Position

As a Hotel Breakfast Attendant at Hampton Inn & Suites Dupont, WA, you will help create a welcoming start to guests’ days by ensuring the breakfast area is clean, well-stocked, and inviting. You will prepare and serve breakfast items according to food safety and handling procedures, maintain high standards of hygiene and presentation, and interact courteously with guests to address their needs and questions. Requirements

• Basic knowledge of food handling and safety procedures required by local health regulations.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting and carrying supplies.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
• Availability to work early morning shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to obtain a Washington State Food Handlers Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain the breakfast buffet, ensuring food is fresh, properly displayed, and replenished throughout service.
• Follow food handling and safety procedures to prevent contamination and comply with health regulations.
• Greet guests, respond to questions and special requests, and provide information about breakfast options.
• Clean and sanitize breakfast service areas, utensils, and equipment before, during, and after service.
• Monitor breakfast supply inventory and communicate with management when stock needs to be reordered.
