The Hotel Bell Person assists guests with luggage delivery, pickup, and storage; delivers mail and packages; and greets arriving vehicles and guests, bidding them farewell upon departure. The role requires knowledge of property amenities so guests can make the most of the casino and hotel during current and future visits. The Bell Person also assists the Front Desk as needed. Duties are typically performed in a fast-paced front desk setting. Team members may encounter casino-related conditions such as secondhand smoke and excessive noise. The role involves extensive standing and walking, frequent lifting and carrying, and regular movement across varied surfaces and lighting conditions. Occasional duties may include using de-escalation techniques to resolve customer conflict and assisting with customer evacuation during emergencies. Seminole Gaming gives employment preference to Native Americans: first to qualified members of the Seminole Tribe and second to qualified members of other federally recognized Native American tribes. Final candidates must obtain gaming licensure by completing a background check with Seminole Gaming Compliance and Regulations before an offer is extended. Screening may include credit and criminal background checks and a drug screen. Management reserves the right to revise the job or assign other or different tasks as circumstances change.
