About The Position

Greet guests warmly at the hotel entrance and provide services related to transporting and storing luggage, along with other guest services. The role includes assisting guests with arrival and room needs, sharing information about guest rooms and hotel amenities, and supporting guest satisfaction. Follow hotel sustainability guidelines and safe-work standards.

Requirements

Previous customer experience or equivalent training is required.
Ability to stand for extended periods, walk, push, lift up to 50 pounds, bend, and reach.
Work schedule may vary and may include holidays, weekends, and alternate shifts.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma preferred.

Responsibilities

Load and unload luggage carts.
Tag and store luggage.
Escort guests to hotel rooms.
Provide an overview of guest rooms, hotel services, and amenities.
Make deliveries to guest rooms.
Assist guests with room changes.
Stock the pantry when necessary.
Maintain lists and brochures of local attractions, transportation guides, churches, sports arenas, and other local resources.
Perform house attendant functions when staff shortages occur.
Be aware of guest satisfaction scores and work toward increasing departmental and overall guest satisfaction.
Follow sustainability guidelines and practices related to HHM’s EarthView program.
Practice safe work habits, wear protective safety equipment, and follow MSDS and OSHA standards.
Ensure overall guest satisfaction.
Perform other duties as requested by management.
