About The Position
As a Hotel Bell Person at Turning Stone Enterprises, you will create a welcoming atmosphere by assisting guests with their luggage, escorting them to their rooms, and helping set the tone for their stay. The role requires a friendly demeanor and a strong focus on guest service. The starting pay rate is $16.00 per hour plus tips. Turning Stone Enterprises operates the Turning Stone Resort Casino, satellite casinos, convenience stores, three 18-hole PGA-level golf courses, and other ventures. The organization has more than 4,500 team members across Central New York and offers training, career development, and other resources.
Requirements
- Experience in a guest-contact position.
- Experience in a guest-service role.
- Ability to lift and handle luggage weighing up to 100 pounds and place it onto a bell cart.
- Friendly demeanor and passion for providing great service.
Responsibilities
- Receive guests courteously, welcome them to the hotel, and accompany them to their accommodations.
- Handle guest luggage carefully to prevent damage to luggage and its contents.
- Respond to incoming telephone calls at the bell desk promptly and professionally.
- Lift and place luggage weighing up to 100 pounds onto a bell cart.
