About The Position

As a Hostperson at Sadelle’s inside Bellagio, you will welcome guests with professionalism, genuine hospitality, and attention to detail. You will manage reservations, seat guests efficiently, and maintain a polished, organized, and inviting restaurant environment. You will work with Food Servers, Bus Persons, and Food Runners to coordinate table management, communicate guest needs, and provide elevated service consistent with the Sadelle’s and Bellagio experience.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be able to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Nice To Haves

• Two or more years of prior experience working as a dining host in a restaurant.
• Experience working in a similar resort setting.
• Prior experience working in a high-volume, fast-paced restaurant.

Responsibilities

• Communicate special orders, cake orders, and other guest requests to management through coordination with Restaurant Reservations.
• Maintain knowledge of daily activities and in-house groups, house count, table, seat, and station numbers, table setups, room capacity, hours, price range, and dress code.
• Promptly greet guests as they enter the restaurant.
• Answer phones, keep an accurate count of reservations, and manage the reservation book.
• Ensure menus have current inserts and replace menus in poor condition.
• Communicate guest needs to the kitchen and management, share guest reactions and comments with management, and assist management as needed to support smooth operations and quality service.
• Check frequently on guests waiting to be seated and keep them informed while tables are being prepared.
• Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization in assigned work areas; shut down the podium and forward phones to voice-loop at the end of the shift.
