About The Position

Friendship Village is the premium retirement community in the Cedar Valley and we provide exceptional service to those we service. Which means we are looking for an enthusiastic and energetic person to fill the role of Host/Hostess at our Landmark Commons Bay restaurant. As a Dining Host, you will play an important role in creating a warm, enjoyable dining experience for our residents and guests. You will greet residents with a smile and provide update to customers as they wait. Provide work direction to Dining Associates and help with providing attentive table service, and help ensure the dining room is clean, comfortable, and inviting. Assist with special events, holiday meals, and catering functions as needed.

Requirements

• 2+ years of dining service or hospitality service experience
• Exceptional customer service
• Must be organized and have good communication skills
• Applicants are required to pass pre-employment screenings that could include: Criminal background checks, Abuse registry check, Drug test, Physical, Flu vaccinated and TB test.

Responsibilities

• Greet residents with a smile
