About The Position
The Host is responsible for delivering an excellent hospitality experience by maintaining the overall flow of the restaurant. Hosts provide a positive and professional first and last impression to every guest. When there is a wait, they quote an accurate wait time and answer guests’ questions.
Requirements
- Previous experience is not required; training will be provided.
- Excellent customer service skills and etiquette.
- Ability to execute proper sanitation practices and safety procedures.
- Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and guests.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, teamwork environment.
Responsibilities
- Interact courteously with guests by answering phones, greeting and seating guests, making reservations, and taking food orders.
- Maintain high safety and sanitation standards by completing sanitation practices at the front door, host desk, lobby area, and during crowd control.
- Learn the restaurant seating layout, how tables are divided into server areas, and how to deliver food.
- Set and clear tables neatly and efficiently according to P.F. Chang’s specifications.
- Learn the curbside process and takeout expectations.
- Conduct side work as required for each shift.
