About The Position
Hosts create the first impression for Guests at Chili’s by offering a warm welcome and providing hospitality and service. The role involves managing the wait list, answering and directing phone calls, communicating Guest concerns to a Manager, supporting fellow Team Members, and helping maintain a safe and welcoming restaurant environment. Hosts should be comfortable working on their feet for extended periods and lifting or maneuvering food trays when needed. No experience is necessary.
Requirements
- Friendly, warm, and caring attitude, with readiness to greet Guests with a smile.
- Ability to think and act quickly in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to safely lift and easily maneuver trays of food when necessary.
Responsibilities
- Give a warm welcome to every Guest.
- Manage the wait list.
- Communicate Guest concerns to the Manager when appropriate.
- Answer the telephone within three rings and direct calls.
- Help fellow Team Members when appropriate.
- Contribute to maintaining a safe and welcoming environment.
