About The Position

Draft Kings Restaurant is seeking a Host to provide exceptional customer service, manage the reservation system, and ensure a smooth dining experience for guests. The Host will be responsible for greeting and seating guests, maintaining workstations, and communicating effectively with both guests and management. This role requires a friendly and professional attitude, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to upholding company standards.

Requirements

Must be 21 years of age or older
Must have basic mathematical skills
Must be able to work Weekends, Nights and Holidays
Able to effectively communicate in English via verbal and written

Nice To Haves

1 year Host experience in a fast-paced environment, preferred

Responsibilities

Smiles, provides exceptional customer service, and always treats guests and coworkers with respect.
Participate regularly in departmental and company meetings.
Manages the reservation system, greets and seats guests, sets server rotation, and controls the flow of dining areas.
Knowledgeable in the products the company serves.
Understands customer service and execution of standards is what makes this position successful for the company and the team members.
Sets and keeps restaurant workstations and the surrounding areas properly stocked, clean, safe, and organized.
Ability to uphold great communication with guest, build rapport, and engage in friendly conversations.
Communicates all guest service opportunities and product shortages or issues to management.
Serves food/drink, greats and seats guests, busses, and runs food/drink, does side work, plus any other normal functions required to service our guests under normal operating conditions.
Follows the company’s attendance policy as well as other rules and regulations set forth in the handbook.
Able to satisfactorily complete assignable work tasks requested by the departmental leaders
Immediately report any safety hazards, problems, or maintenance issues to the appropriate party
Ensures the proper steps of service, and our guests needs, are being met.
Other duties as assigned.
