About The Position
Tucker’s in Bedford is seeking a host to work Monday through Friday. The position may be part-time for only a few days per week to suit the employee’s schedule. The host is the first team member guests interact with when they arrive and represents the restaurant’s service and hospitality. The host greets and welcomes guests, seats them, and keeps waiting guests informed and comfortable while they wait for a table or take-out order. The role also involves monitoring dining sections for clean, available tables, estimating wait times, managing the waiting list, and attending to guests’ needs while they wait. The schedule ends by 2:00 p.m. daily.
Responsibilities
- Greet arriving guests, welcome them to Tucker’s, and seat them.
- Ensure guests waiting for seating or take-out orders are comfortable and informed about wait times or order status.
- Monitor dining sections for empty, cleaned tables.
- Estimate wait times for guests.
- Monitor the guest waiting list.
- Ensure guests’ needs are met while they wait.
