About The Position

The Host/Hostess is typically the first person a guest meets at The Continental and helps set the atmosphere for the dining experience. The role includes taking reservations and to-go orders, seating guests, and assisting fellow employees and management in providing an exceptional experience to visitors at Ford House.

Nice To Haves

• Previous host/hostess experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Work in tandem with the management team to successfully operate The Continental.
• Adhere to the policies and procedures of Continental Services and Ford House.
• Complete the training program for the Host position.
• Support servers and The Speedster attendants with food and beverage service.
• Greet, direct, and seat guests at tables.
• Take, place, package, and provide to-go orders to guests.
• Maintain the overall cleanliness and order of The Continental dining room.
• Complete tasks assigned by management staff.
