Caregiver Day Shift Part Time
About The Position
Brookdale is hiring a part-time, day-shift Caregiver to provide direct care to residents. Caregivers recognize individual needs, encourage independence, and treat each senior with respect and dignity. The role includes helping residents with activities of daily living and personal care, assisting with light household tasks, and engaging residents in meaningful conversations. Depending on state regulations, training or certification may be required. Responsibilities
- Provide direct care to residents and recognize their individual needs.
- Encourage resident independence and treat each senior with respect and dignity.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and other personal care needs.
- Help residents with vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, mopping, and dishes.
- Engage residents in meaningful conversations and provide attentive care.
