About The Position
Independent Home Health is hiring dependable, compassionate Caregivers to provide one-on-one, non-medical care to individuals in their homes throughout Coal Township and surrounding communities. Caregivers build relationships with the people they support and help them remain safe, comfortable, and independent at home. No professional caregiving experience is required. The listed schedule is Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., in Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania. Full-time and part-time opportunities are available based on available cases.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Have a valid driver's license.
- Have reliable transportation.
- Be able to complete required background checks.
- Be dependable, caring, and patient.
Nice To Haves
- Previous caregiving experience is welcome but not required.
- Experience as a caregiver, direct care worker, personal care aide, home health aide, PCA, HHA, or CNA is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Assist with bathing, dressing, and grooming, depending on the individual's needs.
- Help with mobility and everyday activities.
- Prepare meals.
- Complete light housekeeping.
- Provide companionship and conversation.
- Assist with errands or appointments when needed.
- Follow the individual's care plan.
- Document the services provided.
