About The Position

The Host ensures all guests are greeted and seated in a friendly and courteous manner using appropriate procedures, in accordance with Omni Standards. The position involves assisting managers with opening and closing, managing the restaurant entrance during heavy volume, and helping guests learn about dining options and resort property. The Host attends to and anticipates guests’ needs while maintaining knowledge of the menu and daily specials.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask.
• Ability to stand and walk for an extended period of time or for an entire shift.
• Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Nice To Haves

• Prior host experience preferred.

Responsibilities
