About The Position

The Host/Hostess ensures members have a positive visit by acting professionally, managing the flow of seating, maintaining a positive attitude, learning and using members’ names, exceeding member expectations, and working as part of the team. The role also maintains an organized podium and supports dining room and club event reservations. The position has a varied, flexible schedule that includes weekends and holidays. Hosts/Hostesses are expected to arrive punctually, wear a clean and well-maintained uniform with a name tag, maintain a professional and welcoming demeanor, and complete assigned side work at the beginning and end of each shift.

Assist members and guests with requests and manage the flow of dining room seating.
Complete side work thoroughly at the beginning and end of each shift.
Answer phones professionally and courteously.
Accurately take reservations for the dining room and club events.
Confirm reservations for lunch and dinner.
Learn and use members’ names and work as a team to exceed member expectations.
