About The Position

We are seeking a Host/Hostess to join the team at our thriving restaurant. In this role, you will welcome guests, lead them to their seats, and inform them of any specials. Your goal is to quickly build rapport with patrons and make them feel welcome. The ideal candidate is friendly, outgoing, and committed to providing an exceptional dining experience. The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill is a fast-casual restaurant franchise concept featuring authentic Greek recipes, made to order, with only the highest quality ingredients, fresh products, and outstanding hospitality. We've made the dining room a little bigger to fit more guests, but you'll always feel right at home with smiling faces, table service, and a bright cheerful atmosphere.

Requirements

Previous experience as a host/hostess, server, or busser is preferred
Friendly and outgoing personality
Excellent communication skills
Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including standing for long periods and carrying trays
Familiarity with food safety guidelines
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

Welcome guests with a smile and inform them of the wait time
Seat guests at their tables, taking into consideration server availability and guest needs
Provide guests with menus and inform them of any available specials
Accept payment for meals and operate the cash register
