Host/Hostess (Seasonal), Papaya Club - Conrad Orlando
About The Position
Conrad Orlando is looking to welcome a Seasonal Host/Hostess to join the team! Our hotel sits on the 1,100-acre Evermore Orlando Resort bordering Walt Disney World with a 20-acre tropical beach and 8-acre lagoon setting the stage for luxury which is as harmonious as it is captivating. It features 433 rooms, 65,000 square feet of meeting space (40,000 indoor and 25,000 outdoor), a tranquil spa, two 18-hole golf courses, and 6 food and beverage outlets. This includes 3 restaurants (rooftop, southern Italian, and poolside), a cocktail bar, marketplace and in-room dining. Our Papaya Club, our Polynesian- inspired restaurant which is open for Lunch 10:30am-6pm and Dinner 6pm-9pm.
Requirements
- 1+ years experience as a Host/Hostess within restaurants
- Ability to work the required shifts
- Friday & Saturday availability
- Weekday, weekend, and holiday availability
Responsibilities
- Welcome guests and ascertain their dining needs
- Seat guests and manage the seating chart
- Monitor restaurant activity to determine seating and dining flow
- Perform opening and closing duties, as needed
- Assist others with side work including, but not limited to cleaning, stocking, folding silverware, etc.
- Ensure knowledge of menu
- Respond to guest inquiries and requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
- Assist fellow team members and other departments wherever necessary to maintain positive working relationships
