About The Position

Lakepoint Restaurant is seeking a friendly, organized, and dependable Host/Hostess to create a welcoming first impression and help keep restaurant service flowing smoothly. The role involves greeting guests, managing reservations and seating, coordinating parties and wait times, handling to-go orders and payments, and keeping the host stand guest-ready. Hosts also assist with opening and closing duties and preparation for holidays and special events. The work takes place in a fast-paced, people-focused environment with lake views and an upbeat, supportive team. The restaurant is open Wednesday through Saturday, and the listed hours are 2:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. Major holidays and special events may be required.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and greet guests with a positive, friendly attitude.
• Manage reservations and seating arrangements based on table availability.
• Check voicemails and enter reservations accurately.
• Coordinate seating for parties of all sizes and manage wait times when needed.
• Place accurate to-go orders and cash guests out efficiently.
• Assist with planning and preparing for holidays and special events.
• Keep the host stand and surrounding areas clean, organized, and guest-ready.
• Help with opening and closing duties each shift.
• Work independently or alongside another host during busy shifts.
