About The Position

The Host/Hostess at Vida greets guests and escorts them to tables in an upbeat, friendly, and courteous manner. The role supports restaurant operations by managing reservations and the restaurant floor using the table management system, answering the telephone and facilitating guest requests, and assisting with administrative work as directed by the restaurant manager. The position is at Fontainebleau Miami Beach, an oceanfront hotel on Collins Avenue in Miami Beach.

Requirements

• Ability to communicate effectively and establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff.
• High school education or equivalent.
• Relevant experience in a high-quality, high-volume operation.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and escort them to appropriate tables in accordance with established guidelines and food and beverage standards.
• Answer the telephone and facilitate guest requests.
• Use the table management system to manage incoming reservations and the restaurant floor.
• Assist with daily administrative work as directed by the restaurant manager.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
