About The Position

The Host/Hostess/Cashier helps create the BYC guest experience from arrival through departure. The role maintains the host stand, coffee station, and outside patio; welcomes and thanks guests; seats guests promptly; manages the waitlist using an iPad system; and keeps waiting guests engaged. The position also answers phones, places and enters to-go orders in the POS system, inspects and refreshes restrooms every 30 minutes, responds to guest requests and relays them to servers as needed, and assists teammates with food delivery and table bussing.

Requirements

• Be fun, energetic, eager, and a committed team member.
• Have basic knowledge of BYC service.
• Be familiar with POS and iPad systems.
• Be able to stand for long periods, up to 9 hours.
• Be able to safely lift and maneuver up to 20 pounds.
• Be at least 16 years of age and authorized to work in the United States.

• Prior experience is recommended but not required.
