About The Position

McMenamins Edgefield is seeking a Host/Food Runner/Support Staff. McMenamins is a family-owned company in Oregon and Washington that serves handcrafted beverages and pub fare. This role involves greeting and seating customers in a high-volume environment, answering phones, directing guests, answering property-related questions, expediting and delivering food, cleaning and setting tables, restocking supplies, performing general cleaning, and working seasonally outdoors. The position requires maintaining excellent customer relations, mental agility, multitasking in a fast-paced environment, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Requirements

Obtain and maintain a current food handlers card
Enjoy working in a busy customer service-oriented environment

Nice To Haves

Previous related experience is preferred
Flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays preferred

Responsibilities

Greeting and seating customers in a high-volume environment
Answering phones
Directing customers to assigned or preferred seating
Answering guest’s questions regarding the pub or property
Expediting and delivering food from the kitchen to patrons in a timely manner
Helping, cleaning, and setting tables
Restocking supplies
Performing general cleaning
Working outside on a seasonal basis
Working in smoking and non-smoking environments
Maintaining and providing excellent customer relations with all patrons
