About The Position

Onsight Healthcare is hiring for its Hospitality Valet Team at Marengo Memorial Hospital in Marengo, Iowa. The team serves as the first and last impression for patients and guests, providing warm, compassionate customer service and valet support while helping patients, visitors, and hospital staff navigate the facility. Employees work with the hospital team to support the client relationship and meet applicable service metrics. The role is full-time, with employees working at least 30 hours per week. Days and shifts vary according to business needs and availability; typical shifts are Monday through Friday between 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. The position pays $13 per hour plus tips. The work involves sustained outdoor activity and exposure to weather, including cold, rain, sleet, and snow.

Requirements

Must be over 18 years old.
Must be eligible to work for any U.S. employer.
High school diploma or GED required.
Must have a valid, active in-state regular driver's license; permits and probationary licenses are not accepted.
Must have maintained a clean driving record for the past five years.
Must demonstrate professionalism, integrity, compassion, and a commitment to supporting the team.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to operate apps and technology on a tablet and learn software used for daily tasks.
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and pay attention to surroundings and details.
Ability to remain in a stationary position for hours at a time outdoors and to move with urgency and speed.
Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds and walk, stand, push, and pull luggage or belongings.
Ability to build effective relationships with hospital staff, patients, guests, and team members.
Must be able to speak, read, and write Standard English.
Must be able to work outdoors in inclement weather, including severe cold, rain, sleet, and snow.

Bilingual ability is a plus but is not required.

Responsibilities

Greet patients, visitors, and staff warmly and show compassion and empathy.
Provide valet services while ensuring the safety and security of people, vehicles, and belongings.
Assist with loading and unloading vehicles and support people with mobility challenges, including wheelchair and escort services.
Maintain records, including photographs and notes about vehicle condition, as needed.
Manage parking logistics according to site requirements and traffic laws.
Provide accurate directions and helpful information about hospital facilities.
Work with the team to meet service metrics and strengthen the client relationship with Onsight Healthcare.
Perform other duties as assigned.
