About The Position

Landing is building the largest flexible living network in the country, with over 35 markets and thousands of apartments available without deposits or hassle. As a fast-growing company operating in the real world, we experience rapid changes and unique daily challenges. Huntsville, AL is a rapidly expanding market for us, and we are seeking to grow our team to meet the increasing demand. In this role, you will be responsible for a segment of our properties, overseeing aspects such as member experience, property relationships, housekeeping vendors, maintenance, and unit quality. You will manage reservations made through Landing’s platform and third-party channels like Airbnb and Booking.com, cultivate relationships with property partners, address member issues across various communication platforms, and report on market performance to your Hub Manager. This position is ideal for individuals with prior experience in hotel operations, short-term rental portfolio management, or high-volume hospitality environments. The key difference in this role is the ownership of an entire market segment, with the opportunity to contribute to developing operational strategies.

Requirements

  • Background in hotel operations, short-term rental management, vacation rental portfolio management, or high-volume hospitality.
  • Experience running a market, property, or operation with significant autonomy.
  • Strong organizational and follow-through skills.
  • Ability to triage effectively under pressure.
  • Comfort with ambiguity in a growth-stage company environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage reservations across direct and OTA channels, including Landing bookings and platforms like Airbnb and Booking.com.
  • Oversee member experience from booking through checkout, handling tickets, inquiries, and escalations.
  • Manage relationships with property and housekeeping partners.
  • Track and report on market Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as NPS, CSAT, cleaning quality, and growth.
  • Coordinate reservations and escalate maintenance issues with property management teams.
  • Onboard, install, and launch new properties within the assigned market segment.
