About The Position

Emory University Department of Ophthalmology/Emory Eye Center is seeking a full-time Ophthalmologist Hospitalist (1.0 FTE) to support hospital-based ophthalmology services, including coverage at Midtown and EUH/EUHM. The position provides dedicated staffing for the growing inpatient service at EUHM, reduces reliance on faculty coverage during Midtown clinic time, and supports workflows in which inpatient consultations may require clinic-based testing as part of evaluation. The role requires excellent clinical judgment, a patient-centered approach, and strong collaboration with multidisciplinary care teams. Position tasks must be performed in person at an Emory University location; remote work is not an option. Emory reserves the right to change this status with notice to the employee.
