About The Position

National Wound Physician Group is hiring a Hospitalist to provide bedside wound management in post-acute care settings, including Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals. Physicians conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility and deliver care using modern wound-management modalities and a proprietary wound-specific EMR, with documentation completed in real time at the point of care. This is a mobile practice serving facilities within a 40–60 mile radius of the practice location. Physicians visit 2–3 facilities per day and treat approximately 20–30 patients daily. Full-time schedules are 4–5 weekdays per week, generally Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.; part-time opportunities require at least 3 weekdays per week. There are no nights, calls, or weekend clinical responsibilities. Paid onboarding training and a six-month wound care fellowship are provided. The posting states that W-2 physicians earn an average of $300,000 per year, and lists a salary range of $200,000–$300,000 per year. Requirements

Hold an active, full, and unrestricted MD or DO medical license in the state where practicing.
Commit to at least 3 weekdays per week, Monday through Friday.
