About The Position

The Geriatrician provides bedside wound management in post-acute care settings, including Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals. Physicians conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility, typically visiting two to three facilities per day and treating approximately 20–30 patients daily. This mobile practice covers facilities within a 40–60 mile radius of the practice location. Clinical documentation is completed in real time at the point of care using a proprietary wound-specific EMR. The role offers full-time work Monday through Friday, with a stated schedule of 7 am–4 pm, or part-time work. Full-time physicians work four to five days per week; part-time physicians must commit to at least three days per week. There are no night, call, or weekend clinical responsibilities. Paid onboarding training and a six-month wound care fellowship are provided. The position is W-2 employment; work visa sponsorship is not available.

Requirements

Hold a full, active, unrestricted MD or DO medical license in the state where the physician wishes to practice.
Commit to at least three weekdays per week, Monday through Friday.
