Geriatrician - Warsaw, MO
About The Position
National Wound Physician Group is hiring a Geriatrician to provide bedside wound management in post-acute care settings, including Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals. Physicians conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility, typically visiting two to three facilities per day and treating approximately 20–30 patients daily. The mobile practice serves facilities within a 40–60 mile radius of the practice location. Clinical documentation is completed in real time at the point of care using a proprietary wound-specific EMR. The role offers full-time and part-time schedules. Full-time physicians typically work four to five weekdays, with a stated schedule of Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.; part-time physicians work at least three days per week. There are no nights, on-call duties, or weekend clinical responsibilities. Paid onboarding training and a six-month wound care fellowship are provided. Employment is W-2, and work visa sponsorship is unavailable.
Requirements
- Hold a full, active, unrestricted MD or DO medical license in the state where practicing.
- Commit to at least three weekdays per week, Monday through Friday.
