The Bariatric Surgeon will provide bedside wound management in post-acute care settings, including skilled nursing facilities and long-term acute care hospitals. Physicians conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility, typically visiting two to three facilities per day and treating approximately 20–30 patients per day within a 40–60-mile radius of the practice location. Clinical documentation is completed in real time at the point of care using a proprietary wound-specific EMR. The practice offers full-time work, generally four to five weekdays per week, or part-time work of at least three weekdays per week. The stated schedule is Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., with no call, night, or weekend clinical responsibilities. Paid onboarding training and a six-month wound care fellowship are provided. W2 physicians earn an average of $300,000 per year, with a listed salary range of $200,000–$350,000 per year. No work visa sponsorship is available.
