About The Position
Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is hiring a Per Diem Hospitalist at NYC Health + Hospitals/South Brooklyn Health. The hospital is a redesigned health care campus that includes the Ruth Bader Ginsburg Hospital and the Health & Wellness Institute, and maintains academic affiliations with SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University and NYIT College of Osteopathic Medicine. The Hospitalist provides medical management and comprehensive care for patients in the Medicine Inpatient Units, attends consultations and referrals as needed, and contributes to the education and training of residents, medical students, and junior medical-team members. The role collaborates with facility-wide departments, participates in hospital-wide performance and quality-improvement projects and patient-safety initiatives, and supervises Advanced Practice Providers. The schedule is flexible to provide evening and overnight coverage. Requirements
- Active or eligible for a New York State license.
- Board eligible or board certified in Internal Medicine.
