Hospitalist (Per Diem)
About The Position
Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is hiring a per diem Hospitalist for NYC Health + Hospitals/South Brooklyn Health in Brooklyn, New York. The hospital is a redesigned health care campus that includes the 11-floor Ruth Bader Ginsburg Hospital, emergency care, labor and delivery suites, surgical services, and the Health & Wellness Institute, which provides outpatient primary, preventive, and specialty services. The hospital has academic affiliations with SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University and NYIT College of Osteopathic Medicine. The Hospitalist provides medical management and comprehensive care to patients in the Medicine Inpatient Units, handles consultations and referrals as needed, and contributes to education and training for residents, medical students, and junior medical team members. The role also involves collaboration with hospital departments, participation in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives, and supervision of Advanced Practice Providers. The schedule is flexible and covers evening and overnight hours. Requirements
- Active or eligible for a New York State license.
- Board eligible or board certified in Internal Medicine.

Responsibilities
- Provide medical management and comprehensive care to patients in the Medicine Inpatient Units.
