About The Position
CHI St. Joseph Health is seeking a skilled and compassionate Hospitalist to join their established team in Bryan-College Station, Texas. This role offers a 7 on/7 off schedule, an average census of 16-18 patients, and no codes or procedures required, as there is dedicated rapid response team support. The position also features distinct roles for admitting and rounding physicians, a competitive base salary with productivity and quality incentive bonuses, and a sign-on bonus and relocation assistance. The role is part of a larger health system, CommonSpirit Health, which is a national, nonprofit Catholic health system dedicated to advancing health for all people.
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine
- Licensed to practice medicine in Texas
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong commitment to patient care and satisfaction
- Ability to work independently and as part of team
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive inpatient care to adult patients.
- Manage acute and chronic illnesses.
- Perform procedures as needed.
- Offer health education.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
