About The Position
Lead the Hospital Medicine team at St. Mary's Medical Center and play a key role in critical inpatient care. This is a full-time, hospital-employed position with a 90% clinical and 10% administrative workload. The schedule is seven days on and seven days off, with 12-hour day shifts from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. The role includes approximately 20 patients per shift, an open ICU, and no procedures. Epic is the electronic medical record system.
Requirements
- Board certified in Internal Medicine.
- Minimum of three years of post-residency hospitalist experience.
- Demonstrated experience teaching and mentoring medical students and residents.
- MD or DO with an unrestricted Missouri medical license, or eligibility to obtain one.
- Current DEA registration.
- BLS or ACLS certification.
- Willingness to participate in IMGME activities.
- Position is not open to new graduates.
