Hospitalist- APP (Nurse Practitioner or PA)
About The Position
OVP Health is seeking qualified Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants to join our new contract with Pomerene Hospital in Millersburg, OH. OVP Health is a family-owned physician group practice company specializing in hospitalist and emergency department services. Our providers work in hospitals and inpatient facilities. This role is a full-time employee (FTE) or independent contractor (IC) position with competitive compensation and on-site administrative support. The schedule is 7 on/7 off, working from 7 PM to 7 AM, handling floor call and nightly admissions at Pomerene Hospital, a physician-led Critical Access Hospital.
Requirements
- Family or Acute care trained Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
- Ability to work a 7 PM to 7 AM schedule.
- Willingness to handle floor call and nightly admissions.
- Must be qualified to practice as an APP in Ohio.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in a Critical Access Hospital setting.
- Familiarity with True Bridge (CPSI) EMR system.
Responsibilities
- Provide hospitalist services as an Advanced Practice Provider (APP).
- Handle floor call and nightly admissions.
- Work a 7 on/7 off schedule from 7 PM to 7 AM.
- Collaborate with the physician-led team at Pomerene Hospital.
