About The Position

This role involves managing patients on the hospitalist service overnight. The successful candidate will collaborate with nursing staff, the overnight nocturnist physician, and other providers. Responsibilities include attending rapid responses, Code Blue, and Code Green calls to provide information to the team, documenting interventions and evaluations in the medical record, and communicating timely with the overnight physician and on-coming day time providers.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Program or Physician Assistant Program (required)
• Active Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Certification (required)
• Active Maryland ACNP/AGACNP/PA License (required)
• Active, unrestricted CDS and DEA license (required)
• Current BLS certification (required)

Nice To Haves

• Current ACLS certification (preferred)
• 2 years experience as hospitalist (preferred)
