About The Position

Hospital Valets are the first point of contact for guests at a healthcare organization. They greet guests warmly, assist with parking and retrieving vehicles, provide directions, and anticipate guest needs to deliver an exceptional experience. The role is based in Newark, Delaware, and is scheduled Monday through Friday from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The position pays $19.50 per hour, including tips, and does not require evening or weekend work. Bilingual English- and Spanish-speaking candidates with experience serving Spanish-speaking communities are welcome.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of customer service experience.
• At least 3 years of continuous driver's license experience; a license suspended or expired within the last 3 years does not meet this requirement.
• No more than 2 minor moving violations in the last 3 years.
• No major moving violations in the last 3 years.
• No alcohol- or drug-related violations in the last 3 years.
• Possess a valid driver's license and meet the company's motor vehicle eligibility requirements.
• Have a positive teamwork mindset, great communication skills, and a clean-cut appearance.
• Successfully complete a background check conducted in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Be able to walk, stand, and jog for an 8-hour shift.
• Tolerate inclement weather.
• Be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds for short periods.
• Be able to push a wheelchair with a guest in it.

Nice To Haves

• Bilingual English/Spanish skills are preferred but not required.
• Experience working with Spanish-speaking communities.
