About The Position

The Hospital Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for clients by actively monitoring premises and patrolling assigned locations. The officer preserves order by enforcing site regulations and directives for personnel, visitors, and the surrounding area. The role also involves observing and reporting activities and incidents to protect client property and personnel, and frequently providing customer service and information to employees and customers. No prior experience is necessary; training is provided for those new to the security industry.

Requirements

Excellent customer service skills.
Must pass a drug screen and background check.
Must be able to meet and continue to meet applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guards.
Ability to perform frequent sitting, standing, and walking for long periods; duties may involve climbing stairs and walking on inclines and uneven terrain.
Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Nice To Haves

Retail, food service, or hospitality industry background is considered a good fit; no experience is necessary.
