About The Position

The Hospital Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for clients by actively monitoring premises and patrolling locations. The officer preserves order by enforcing site regulations and directives for personnel, visitors, and the surrounding area, and may provide customer service and information to client employees and customers. The role involves observing and reporting activities and incidents at an assigned client site to protect client property and personnel. No prior experience is necessary; training is provided for candidates new to the security industry. Applicants with retail, food service, or hospitality backgrounds may be a good fit.

Requirements

Availability to work Monday through Friday.
Flexibility to work first, second, and third shifts as needed.
Excellent customer service skills.
Pass a drug screen and background check.
Meet and continue to meet applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guards.
Ability to perform frequent sitting, standing, and walking, potentially for long periods, and to climb stairs and walk on inclines and uneven terrain.
Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
