About The Position

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to work in Sapulpa, Oklahoma. The role involves performing skilled specimen collections, providing exceptional customer service, and representing the company to patients. The position offers opportunities for continued growth within the organization. The schedule is three 12-hour shifts, Thursday through Saturday, from 5:30 PM to 6:00 AM, with rotating weekends. Travel to additional sites may be needed.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
At least 1 year of phlebotomy experience.
Proven track record of providing exceptional customer service.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
Comfort working under minimal supervision.
Reliable transportation and a clean driving record, if applicable.
Ability to work overtime as needed.
Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test.

Nice To Haves

Phlebotomy certification, completion of a phlebotomy training program, or at least 1 year of experience as a phlebotomist.
When work experience is substituted, phlebotomy certification or training must be from an accredited agency.

Responsibilities

Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for patients of all age groups.
Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, and other purposes.
Enter patient information accurately and in a timely manner.
Process billing information and collect payments when required.
Prepare collected specimens for testing and analysis.
Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
Provide superior customer service to patients.
Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
Travel to additional sites when needed.
