About The Position
This opportunity is in Hospital Medicine and is tailored for professionals who meet the specified qualifications and are prepared for a rigorous inpatient practice scenario. Candidates must be based in Michigan or be local drive-ins only. The clinical setting is inpatient only. The preferred schedule is 3-4 consecutive day shifts. Upcoming rotations include Midland Rounder (8/24 - 8/26, 0700 - 1900), Alma Rounder (8/6 - 8/9, 0700 - 1900), and Standish (On-Site 0700 - 1900 / On-Call 1900 - 0700, 8/22 - 8/23). There are no specific procedures or cases required. Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) are available, with no supervising responsibilities expected. The Electronic Medical Records and Documentation Systems utilized are EPIC and Dragon for dictation.
Requirements
- Current ACLS certification from the American Heart Association
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency program
- Submission of 50 inpatient case logs from the previous 12 months, available for verification
- Valid Michigan medical license (MI ONLY)
- Board Certified (BC) or Board Eligible (BE) with an active Michigan license or IMLC
- Must be based in Michigan or be a local drive-in
Responsibilities
- Provide inpatient hospital medicine services.
- Work 3-4 consecutive day shifts.
- Utilize EPIC and Dragon for dictation.
