About The Position

The Medical Laboratory Tech is responsible for analyzing various chemical, microscopic and bacteriologic tests to provide physicians with pertinent information regarding the patient's health under the supervision of the Medical Technologist or Pathologist. This position is in a Critical Access Hospital located in Saratoga, WY.

Possess a bachelor's degree or higher in chemical, physical, biological, or clinical laboratory science, or medical technology from an accredited institution; OR • Associate’s degree in Medical Laboratory Technology.
Must meet CLIA required qualifications for Moderate Complexity Testing.

Nice To Haves

The ideal candidate will be certified or registry eligible for certification with the ASCP, AMT or other accrediting organizations.

Responsibilities

Collects specimens.
Performs specimen analysis and other tasks and procedures in hematology. urinalysis, serology, chemistry, and microbiology.
Reports analysis results appropriately.
Other duties as assigned.
